Making a Difference for Travelers Rest, SC

I'm honored to serve our Travelers Rest community as Mayor.  

 

TR is my home and hometown. I'm blessed to happily serve and represent all the wonderful people who live here. I work to preserve all we love about living here in a Southern small town, while helping guide us through growth and towards a sustainable future.

Currently serving tenth year on council for the City of Travelers Rest. Elected to Mayor in 2018. Founding member of Let's Keep TR Beautiful, a local group dedicated to positive promotion and beautification of TR. Serving as Board of Director for SC Appalachian Council of Governments and Municipal Association of SC. Co President+CFO and owner of Brains on Fire, Inc. a creative marketing agency with offices in Greenville, SC and Los Angeles, CA.

Most importantly, wife of nineteen years to Steven Amidon and Mother to our daughter, Annabelle Grace Amidon.
